Strong Stomach/Weak Bladder
Because individuals with the gastrotonia constitution are likely to suffer from side effects, extra caution is needed when taking any medication. These individuals should also avoid greasy foods and, instead, eat foods that are fresh and unprocessed. Ingesting alcohol and taking cold baths should be avoided as well.
Although penicillin, an antibiotic substance, is no longer in prevailing use today, it was once used widely. Consequently, penicillin shock was a critical issue. Penicillin shock often occurred to gastrotonia individuals.
Potato; seaweed; chicken; lamb; roe; pepper; mustard; cinnamon; curry; green onion; ginger; apple; tangerine; orange juice; mango; ginseng; honey; vitamin B; penicillin; antler (herbal medicine); cigarettes
Rice; barley; red bean; Napa cabbage; cabbage; cucumber; beef; crab; globefish; raw oyster; shrimp; persimmon; pear; pineapple; grape; strawberry; banana; vitamin E
You may have heard of individuals who suffered from penicillin shock even at the time of their birth. Penicillin shock rarely occurs, happening to only one person in one hundred thousand. Due to lack of clinical experience in this area, I cannot say this with assurance, but it is my belief, that individuals who are susceptible to penicillin shock have the gastrotonia constitution. Since there is a shortage of clinical data, it is difficult to establish a set principle. About ten years ago, I treated an unmarried woman who was nearly dying because of penicillin shock. Her constitution was gastrotonia. I have not encountered the same or a similar case after this incident, but I assume that penicillin shock can happen only to individuals with this constitution. Foods that are beneficial or harmful for the gastrotonia constitution are a combination of the beneficial and harmful diets, respectively, between the pulmotonia and pancreotonia constitutions.
